As a character in this new musical piece says, "Hello is a single key that unlocks so many doors." And yet it is a word we fail to say often enough. This is a story of "hellos" as told through the eyes of a retiring priest at a painful crossroads and a songwriter with a street-level view of his troubled neighbors. It is a complex yet entertaining theatre experience that explores not dogmatic religion but universal humanity.

Ended our day by seeing a PHENOMENAL performance "Strangers of 46th Street" by Marc McBarron Kessler and John Reeds at Michiko Rehearsal Studios. If you have had or get the chance to see one or both of these men in a performance, you are truly blessed. Their love of their art is evident and this show was incredibly moving! I highly recommend checking out their events at https://burningcircustheatre.com/
One metric I have for a successful performance is that I always feel like I've had a complete, satisfying meal when the curtain comes down. Well, I certainly had a 3 star Michelin meal tonight. The counterpoint between your performances was exceptional in each scene you served up. Spiced with humor, wit, and unapologetic realness, you captured the local color of the 'hood courageously through your lens of unconditional universal love.
"What a BEAUTIFUL show. Every New Yorker should hear and see this piece."
So incredible Marc. I can’t stop singing the songs of 46th street and I can’t wait to pay a visit again to the residents of 46th street. Your show makes me see hope everywhere
